Bođani monastery
The Bođani Monastery (Serbian: Манастир Бођани / Manastir Bođani) is a Serb Orthodox monastery in the Bačka region, in the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina. The monastery is near the village of Bođani, in the Bač municipality.
It was founded in 1478. Many of the church frescoes were the work of 18th-century South Slavic painter Hristofor Zhefarovich (Hristofor Žefarović).
Bođani Monastery was declared Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990, and it is protected by Republic of Serbia.
